Oasis Audio joins Fireproof success.
Since its release on September 26, Fireproof, starring Kirk Cameron, has taken in more than $26 million at the box office. Its companion book, The Love Dare (B&H Publishing), hit the top of the New York Times Bestseller List and has one million books in print. And Fireproof (Thomas Nelson), the novel by Eric Wilson, also made its way onto the Times list and will be available as an audiobook in January 2009 from Oasis Audio.
Oasis hired veteran narrator Greg Whalen to read Fireproof. Whalen, who has 18 years of experience as a full-time entertainer, has done voices for everyone from "VeggieTales" to Toon Disney and The History Channel.

Audio for Store Success
Most businesses succeed by offering a diverse line of products, and Christian retailers are no exception. There are only a few Christian publishers who sink or swim with one category of product--like Oasis Audio must. Because of that I'm highly motivated to help you be successful with audio.

Audio Bestsellers/Fiction The Shack, one of Oasis' top-selling audiobooks ever, heads the audio bestseller list for fiction at Publishers Weekly.
CBA Retailers & Resources Industry Brief, September 8, 2008
Oasis Audio is preparing to release the audio version of Stephen Mansfield's The Faith of Barack Obama. Due in stores by Sept. 19, the audio will release as part of Oasis' Springwater line. The print edition released in August.
"With so many unique factors involved in this election, I don't think it's any surprise that the election is going to dominate the media in the coming weeks and be a large part of everyday conversations," said Dan Balow, Oasis Audio publisher. "If retailers can effectively harness some of this interest by helping readers think through the many issues and get to better know the candidates from both parties, both the book and audio should do quite well."
