I’m the author of The Louder Song: Listening for Hope in the Midst of Lament. Whether you are dealing with grief, spiritual doubt, chronic pain, or a difficult season of life, I have absolutely been there. I have no doubt that God is with you, even when you can’t muster the strength to find him. I believe God sings a louder song than suffering ever could, and because of that, I wrote The Louder Song for you — to walk with you, through lament, towards hope in Christ. For a book trailer and shareables go here. The Louder Song is available now at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Christianbook.com. Find out more here.
I also write for Propel Women and a few other venues. (You can check out some of my articles here.) My first book Overcomer: Breaking Down the Walls of Shame and Rebuilding Your Soul (Zondervan, 2015) gives young women — who’ve experienced sexual abuse, everyday insecurity, or shame — the courage to kick down their walls of shame and embrace freedom in Christ so that they can live on mission for Christ.
I’m passionate about finding hope in seasons of difficulty, discipleship, equipping others, learning, church planting, the local church, women in ministry leadership, missional living, and of course, great books, shows, and music too. Most importantly, I am a wife and #boymom, and am also earning my masters degree in evangelism and leadership — which is to say that typically, you’ll find me moving too fast, and oftentimes failing forward. I’m still trying to decide if that’s a good thing :). Thankfully, God is gracious.
Lastly, as a member of the Redbud Writers Guild, I have contributed to Ann Voskamp’s A Holy Experience, (In)courage, Gifted for Leadership, Lifeway, Fulfill, Today’s Christian Woman, Proverbs 31, MOPS International, and more.
